I'm remaking Chester's Quest!


Edit: Another project is consuming my time. Once that is completely covered, then I can move back onto this project!

Getting into reviving my older project, this time in Unity!

My main plans for this game's production is to achieve the same goals as the Clickteam version did, but continue from there to finish the game, all with my new-found Unity skills which allows for much better organization of the project files and objects, especially the code.

This game has grown a deep connection with me ever since it was conceived; my main dream for a game where the game is purely whimsical and invokes exploration and wonder, all with cute characters and colorful graphics, as a highly polished experience.

I hope to document the project's progress fairly frequently, but I expect life to absolutely get in the way; It's a hobby. 😉


For the game progress so far, I got the basic scene with some previous sprites. First new thing I found out about is learning automatically connected tiles and to make it my own! I also found out that sprites can have their own physics shape, which helps open up so much for using tile-sets!

Also got a crude character controller set up, but a totally valid start.
